ev4 ERP catalogue search API
Exposes a URL that searches items in your ev4 ERP catalogue and returns the result as JSON, ready for your website, app or chatbot.
Everything is created inactive in a new folder of your account. Nothing runs until you activate it, and you can undo it for 24 hours.
What it does
Builds your own endpoint on top of your ev4 ERP: every request to the webhook with a search text (q) queries the catalogue table in ev4 and returns how many items match along with their data. Your website, mobile app or an AI agent can query the catalogue without direct access to the ERP and without exposing the ev4 token.
What you need: an ev4 credential (instance identifier, token and base URL, for example https://mycompany.ev4erp.net) and the name and ID of the catalogue table in your ev4.
How to use it: install the template, connect ev4, set the table in the Consultar catálogo ev4 node and call the webhook with ?q=text or with a POST that includes q.

Connect the ev4 credential
This template uses ev4 in: Consultar catálogo ev4. Create or pick the credential and assign it in those nodes.

Copy the webhook URL (Buscar en el catálogo)
A new URL is generated on install. Paste it into the external system that must call this workflow.

Connect ev4
In the Consultar catálogo ev4 node select (or create) your ev4 credential with
evid,tokenandbaseUrl. - 4
Set the catalogue table
In the same node check
ev4_table(defaultcatalogo), enter the table ID inidand, if you want to limit the returned columns, fill incolumns. The query uses thegetItemsmethod of the ev4 API. - 5
Test the search
Send a
POSTto the webhook URL with{"q":"shirt"}. You should receive{"count":N,"items":[...]}. Note: the ev4 call has a 5-second timeout, so keep the limit at a reasonable value. - 6
Activate the workflow
Workflows are installed inactive. Once everything is set, activate it.
