    Create each new Shopify customer in Holded

    When a customer signs up in Shopify, it automatically creates them as a client contact in Holded, ready to be invoiced.

    What it does

    Shopify calls the webhook every time a customer is created. The workflow builds the name (company if present, otherwise first and last name), checks name and email exist and creates the contact in Holded as a client. Your accounting always has your buyers without typing anything.

    What you need: a Holded API key and permission in Shopify to create webhooks.

    How to use it: install the template, connect Holded and register a Shopify "Customer creation" webhook (JSON) pointing to the workflow URL.

    How to set it up

    1. 1

      Connect the holded credential

      This template uses holded in: Crear cliente en Holded. Create or pick the credential and assign it in those nodes.

      Copy the webhook URL (Recibir cliente de Shopify)

      A new URL is generated on install. Paste it into the external system that must call this workflow.

      Connect Holded

      Enter your Holded API key in the Crear cliente en Holded node.

    4. 4

      Register the webhook in Shopify

      In Shopify: Settings → Notifications → Webhooks. Event "Customer creation", JSON format and the URL of the Recibir cliente de Shopify node.

      Test it

      Send a POST to the webhook URL with {"first_name":"Ana","last_name":"Perez","email":"ana@example.com","phone":"+34600000000"}. The contact should appear in Holded.

      Activate the workflow

      Workflows are installed inactive. Once everything is set, activate it.
