Web orders straight into Odoo, with customer confirmation
Receives each order by webhook, sends it to your Odoo REST API as a sales order and confirms to the customer by email.
Everything is created inactive in a new folder of your account. Nothing runs until you activate it, and you can undo it for 24 hours.
What it does
Stop re-typing orders. Each order from your shop or website arrives by webhook; the workflow transforms it into the format your Odoo expects, creates it through its REST API with the Odoo write node and emails the customer a confirmation.
What you need: an Odoo with a REST API module using basic authentication (username and password) that accepts creating sales orders, and an SMTP account. The endpoint URL and field names depend on that module, so they live in two easy-to-edit nodes.
How to use it: install the template, connect Odoo and SMTP, adjust the URL and the JSON in the Preparar pedido node to your API and point your shop to the webhook.

Connect the odoo credential
This template uses odoo in: Crear pedido en Odoo. Create or pick the credential and assign it in those nodes.

Connect the smtp credential
This template uses smtp in: Confirmar al cliente. Create or pick the credential and assign it in those nodes.

Copy the webhook URL (Recibir pedido)
A new URL is generated on install. Paste it into the external system that must call this workflow.

Adapt the URL and format to your Odoo
In Crear pedido en Odoo replace
https://tu-odoo.com/api/sale.orderwith your API endpoint. In Preparar pedido adjust the JSON field names to the ones your module accepts. - 5
Test with an order
Send a
POSTto the webhook with{"pedido":"WEB-1001","nombre":"Ana López","email":"ana@example.com","sku":"AC-5L","unidades":2,"precio":24.5}. Check the order appears in Odoo and Ana receives the email. - 6
Activate the workflow
Workflows are installed inactive. Once everything is set, activate it.
