What it does

Mercado Pago notifies every payment change by webhook, but only with its ID. This workflow receives that notification, fetches the real payment from the API, checks its status is approved and then sends you a Telegram summary with amount, currency, external reference and payer email. Pending or rejected payments are ignored.

What you need: Mercado Pago credentials (Access Token) and a Telegram bot with your chat ID.

How to use it: install the template, connect the credentials and paste the webhook URL in the Mercado Pago panel (Your integrations, Webhooks notifications, Payments event). You can also set it as notification_url when creating your preferences.

How to set it up

Connect the mercadopago credential
This template uses mercadopago in: Consultar pago. Create or pick the credential and assign it in those nodes.

Connect the telegram credential
This template uses telegram in: Avisar por Telegram. Create or pick the credential and assign it in those nodes.

Copy the webhook URL (Recibir notificación)
A new URL is generated on install. Paste it into the external system that must call this workflow.

Connect Mercado Pago and Telegram
Select the credentials in Consultar pago and Avisar por Telegram, and set your chat by replacing TU_CHAT_ID.

Register the webhook in Mercado Pago
In your Mercado Pago application, set this webhook URL for the Payments event.

Test
Send a POST to the webhook with {"type":"payment","data":{"id":"ID_OF_A_REAL_PAYMENT"}}. If the payment is approved, the alert arrives.

Activate the workflow
Workflows are installed inactive. Once everything is set, activate it.
