Mercado Pago payment link sent via WhatsApp
Creates the Mercado Pago payment link and sends it to the customer on WhatsApp Business right away.
Everything is created inactive in a new folder of your account. Nothing runs until you activate it, and you can undo it for 24 hours.
What it does
Ideal for selling over chat: your system calls the webhook with the customer phone, concept and amount; the workflow creates the Mercado Pago payment preference and sends the link via WhatsApp Business. The reference travels with the payment so you can reconcile it.
What you need: Mercado Pago credentials (Access Token) and a connected WhatsApp Business API account.
How to use it: install the template, connect both credentials and POST to the webhook with {"telefono":"5491155551234","nombre":"Ana","concepto":"Order 345","importe":8500,"referencia":"ORD-345"} (phone with country code, no +).
Note: WhatsApp only allows free-form messages within 24 h of the customer last message; outside that window you will need an approved template.

Connect the mercadopago credential
This template uses mercadopago in: Crear link de pago. Create or pick the credential and assign it in those nodes.

Connect the whatsapp_business credential
This template uses whatsapp_business in: Enviar por WhatsApp. Create or pick the credential and assign it in those nodes.

Copy the webhook URL (Recibir solicitud de cobro)
A new URL is generated on install. Paste it into the external system that must call this workflow.

Connect Mercado Pago and WhatsApp
Select your credentials in Crear link de pago and Enviar por WhatsApp.

In Crear link de pago change

Test
Send a
POSTto the webhook with your own phone number and check the message with the link arrives. - 7
Activate the workflow
