What it does

Make sure no lead goes cold. When someone fills in a form on your website, the workflow creates an opportunity in the Odoo CRM with the name, email, phone and message, and alerts the sales team on Slack so they can respond within minutes.

What you need: an Odoo with a REST API module using basic authentication that can create opportunities (crm.lead model), and a Slack Incoming Webhook. The URL and field names depend on your REST module.

How to use it: install the template, connect Odoo and Slack, adjust the URL and the JSON in the Preparar oportunidad node and point your form to the webhook.

How to set it up

Connect the odoo credential
This template uses odoo in: Crear oportunidad en Odoo. Create or pick the credential and assign it in those nodes.

Connect the slack credential
This template uses slack in: Avisar al comercial. Create or pick the credential and assign it in those nodes.

Copy the webhook URL (Recibir lead)
A new URL is generated on install. Paste it into the external system that must call this workflow.

Adapt the URL to your Odoo
In Crear oportunidad en Odoo replace https://tu-odoo.com/api/crm.lead with your API endpoint and review the fields in the Preparar oportunidad node.

Test with a lead
Send a POST to the webhook with {"nombre":"Ana López","email":"ana@example.com","telefono":"+34600111222","mensaje":"I want a quote"}. The opportunity shows up in Odoo and the alert in Slack.

Activate the workflow
Workflows are installed inactive. Once everything is set, activate it.
